West Side Honor Band inaugural concert, 7 p.m., Gustine High School auditorium, featuring top musicians from Orestimba, Gustine and Patterson high schools. Conducted by Troy Rexelle, George Smith and Spencer Jepson. Admission is free.

Benefit dinner for scholarship fund

Steak and chicken dinner for Zac Nelson Memorial Scholarship Fund, 6-8 p.m., Newman FDES Hall. Menu includes steak, chicken, salad bar, potatoes, red beans, bread, dessert, wine and beer.
