Authorities have arrested the last of four suspects wanted in connection with a gang-related June 3 homicide in Gustine.

The Merced Multi-Agency Gang Task Force arrested Jorge Bonilla Acosta, 19, last Wednesday.

Acosta was arrested on charges of homicide, conspiracy and participation in a criminal street gang, according to authorities.

He was arrested at a grocery store in Dos Palos, near the intersection of Highway 33 and Blossom.

The Gustine Police Department had requested the assistance of the task force in apprehending Acosta earlier in the week.

Agents were able to determine that Acosta was living in South Dos Palos. Agents conducted surveillance of the residence, and were able to locate Acosta shortly thereafter seated in a vehicle at the nearby store.

He was taken into custody without incident and booked into Los Banos City Jail.

The charges against Acosta stem from his alleged involvement in the death of 25-year-old Pedro Flores of Gustine, who was fatally stabbed when he reportedly attempted to intervene in an altercation in the parking lot of the South Avenue Apartments.
