He was 45.

Mr. Ramirez was a native of Fresno.

He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army who served from 1982-92, including Operation Desert Storm.

Mr. Ramirez worked as a corrections officer.

Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife Maria Ramirez; four children, Jakob Jude, Noah Alexander, Charles D. Ramirez II and Stephanie (Bobby) Davis; his father, Andy T. Ramirez II; six siblings, Andrew Ramirez, Dennis Ramirez, Pat Amparano, Deb Ramirez, Lisa Lopez and Lori Gomez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Ramirez.

Burial was in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella.
