To the editor:

I would like to thank all of the volunteers and supporters of the “Dough for Dylan” filhos sale fund-raiser!

So many of you generously gave supplies, money, and/or time, which is why we were so successful.  A special thank you goes to Angela Castro. Without her dedication and experience, this fund-raiser would not have happened.  To all of you who were the “backbone” of our filhos operation working tirelessly to make, fry, sugar, pack, deliver, distribute and clean....you were amazing!

Thank you Freitas Fresh Eggs, Highway 33 Egg Ranch, Sunnyside Farms, Mattos Newspapers, Mary Jane’s Salon of Beauty, Pat’s House of Beauty, Newman Public Scales, Knights of Columbus, Nob Hill and FDES Hall for your support and donations.

Because of all of the support, we were able to give the Spinelli family over $13,000 to help ease the financial burden that they have incurred during Dylan’s battle against cancer.
