Mrs.Pacheco was a native of Sao Miguel, the Azores. She lived in Newman for 31 years after previously residing in Massachusetts.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Pacheco was a parishioner at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church, Newman. She was a member of the OLM Society in Gustine and belonged to the SPRSI. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and the outdoors, and loved cooking and cleaning.

Mrs. Pacheco is survived by a son, Antonio B. Pacheco of Massachusetts; a daughter, Maria Luisa Pacheco of Gustine; two sisters, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Pacheco; her parents, Manuel and Maria Pacheco; a sister, a brother and a grandson.

Visitation will be Monday from 6-7 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel, Newman, with a rosary to follow.

A second visitation will be held Tuesday, March 9, from 8:30-9:45 a.m. at the chapel. A funeral mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Joachim’s Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Hills Ferry Cemetery.
