Gustine Chamber of Commerce hosts income protection seminar for local business owners
november calendar

The Gustine Chamber of Commerce invites local business owners to attend a special seminar on income protection, designed to provide valuable insights and resources for protecting business revenue streams.

This event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Nev. 6, at WhichCraft Taproom, located at 374 5th St, in Gustine.

Led by financial representatives Sharon Acord and Modesto Tomeldan from LEGACI Tomorrow Insurance & Financial Services and The Guardian Network, this seminar will offer business owners guidance on income protection strategies. Sharon and Modesto will provide information on the latest options for business income protection and the benefits of preparing for unexpected financial challenges.

In addition to income protection strategies, the seminar will cover California Senate Bill 1126 (SB-1126), which expands the CalSavers retirement program mandate to small business employers with at least one employee. Under this new legislation, employers with 1-4 employees must register with CalSavers by December 31, 2025. The seminar will include a compliance review to help businesses determine if they meet the CalSavers requirements and will provide information on options available to those who need to file for an extension or ensure compliance to avoid fines.

The Gustine Chamber of Commerce encourages local business owners to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about income protection and retirement compliance, emphasizing the importance of preparing for the future and securing financial stability for their businesses and employees.

RSVPs can be sent to Sharon Acord at (415) 308-3730 or Modesto Tomeldan at (916) 208-2027. For more details, business owners are encouraged to visit the LEGACI Tomorrow website.
