Locals looking to show their loved one a little extra attention this Valentine’s Day with a dinner out, need not travel far as restaurants on the Westside have some specials planned for the night.
Love is in the air, and Whichcraft Taproom is ready to make this Valentine’s Day extra special for couples, friends, and beer enthusiasts alike. On Feb. 14, the popular local taproom will host an unforgettable Valentine’s Day event featuring mouthwatering food for sale from Smokin’ Chris BBQ, an array of delicious craft beers on tap, and a special surprise for the ladies.
Known for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional selection of craft brews, Whichcraft Taproom is pulling out all the stops to create a cozy, fun, and festive experience. Guests can purchase Smokin’ Chris BBQ’s signature dishes, perfectly paired with the taproom’s diverse selection of local and regional craft beers. From hoppy IPAs to smooth stouts, there will be something to satisfy every palate.
But the evening’s charm doesn’t stop there. Liz Garcia, one of the taproom’s owners, said she has a heartfelt surprise planned for all the ladies who attend. While the details remain a secret, it’s sure to add an extra touch of magic to the celebration.
“This Valentine’s Day, we wanted to create an experience that’s more than just dinner and drinks,” said Garcia. “It’s about good food, great beer, and sharing memorable moments with the people you care about.”
Mason’s Jar and Grill is turning up the romance for the night with a special five course dinner for two at a price of $90. Diners will be served an appetizer, entrée, side dish, vegetables, dessert and a bottle of wine.

Mason’s Jar and Grill owners Rosanne Mayclin and Penny Siler opened the eatery in 2024 with the goal of giving the Westside a cozy atmosphere to enjoy quality and hearty dining.
For couples looking to extend Valentine’s into the weekend, Hotel Mission del Oro and their restaurant, The Kitchen, have just the ticket. The hotel is offering a Romance Package for $460 that includes a luxury courtyard hotel room, a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and dinner for two. There also will be music in the lounge on Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Dinner specials include filet mignon and lobster tail or halibut and prawns and come with an appetizer and dessert.
