The Newman Police Explorers are reaching out to their community with an opportunity to support their journey toward excellence in law enforcement.

These dedicated youth are working tirelessly to raise funds to attend the Central Valley Explorer Competition, which will be held in Manteca, from June 20 to June 22. In addition to covering travel costs for the competition, the funds will also be used to enhance their training equipment.

The Newman Police Explorer Program has a history of helping its participants achieve remarkable success, with many alumni securing positions in various law enforcement fields. The program serves as a platform for youth aged 14 to 21 to develop vital skills and gain insights into law enforcement through practical scenarios.

To raise the necessary funds, the Newman Police Explorers are holding a delicious fundraiser featuring Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits and Cookie Dough Kits. Supporters can purchase kits either in person or online through the provided link: https://www.pizzakit.com/fundraising-products?shop=1...

The Group ID is 188048, and the Fundraiser ID is 458167. Community members are encouraged to order these tasty kits, share the fundraiser with friends and family, and lend their support to this inspiring cause.

The Central Valley Explorer Competition, established in 2011, provides young law enforcement aspirants the chance to test their skills in realistic scenarios, such as traffic stops, crime scene investigations, and hostage negotiations. Each year, the event draws over 30 teams from across the western United States, even as far as Honolulu, Hawaii. This three-day event, co-hosted by multiple law enforcement agencies, is not just a competition but also an opportunity for camaraderie, learning, and growth.

Participants at this year’s competition will engage in scenarios, attend opening and closing ceremonies, and enjoy a fun night with a pool party. The competition is designed to inspire and challenge youth to be the best they can be while preparing them for the real-world demands of law enforcement careers.

The Newman Police Explorers are counting on the community’s generosity to make this trip possible and to ensure they are well-prepared to showcase their skills at the competition.
