Gustine, CA — Residents and businesses in Gustine are set to experience blazing-fast internet speeds as unWired Broadband launches construction of its NextGen Fiber Internet network. This multi-million-dollar project promises to bring connectivity of up to 5 Gbps to nearly 2,500 addresses across the city, marking a transformative development for the community.

The network, designed to offer symmetrical speeds, unlimited data, and unmatched local support, is expected to benefit single-family homes, commercial enterprises, and multi-dwelling units alike. Installations will commence in select neighborhoods as early as April 2025, with construction slated for completion by June 2026.

Peterson welcomed the competition brought by Comcast’s concurrent internet expansion efforts in Gustine, highlighting its benefit in ensuring no customer is “taken for granted.”

Beyond high-speed internet access, unWired’s NextGen Fiber technology is expected to enhance education and telemedicine opportunities, support remote work, and increase property values. Fiber-to-the-home services will be available, delivering state-of-the-art connectivity directly to Gustine residents.

unWired’s project will span service to 2,068 single-family homes, 110 businesses, and 242 multi-dwelling units. Construction kicks off this week.
