Newman Fire Department

The Newman Fire Station responded to 14 calls for service from March 7 to 13. The calls included eight Emergency Medical Services, one public assist, one vehicle collision and four mutual aid alarm calls.

At 12:14 a.m. on March 11, the Newman Station was dispatched for a mutual aid request to a working structure fire at the 200 block of L Street in Patterson. On arrival, the fire crews were assigned to help with mop-up. Once the assignment was completed, the fire crew was released. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Stanislaus County Fire Investigation Unit, and the damage value was not reported at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.

 

Gustine Fire Department

The Gustine Fire Station responded to nine calls from March 6 to March 13. The calls included seven for Emergency Medical Services, one vehicle collision and one carbon monoxide alarm.

The Gustine Fire Station will be having their Fill The Boot drive for the Burn Institute organization from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of highways 33 and 140 in Gustine.
