Newman Fire Department

The Newman Fire Station responded to 16 calls for service from Nov. 21 to Nov. 26. The calls included 11 for Emergency Medical Service calls, one mutual aid call, two vehicle collisions, one alarm call and one public assist

At 3 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Newman Fire Station was dispatched to a vehicle collision in near Sherman Parkway and Balsam Drive. On arrival, the fire crews found a single vehicle blocking the roadway. The fire crews worked diligently to secure the vehicle and single occupant. The damages were estimated at $29,000, and the injuries were severe.

Gustine Fire Department

The Gustine Fire Department responded to 12 calls for the week of Nov. 25 to Dec. 1. The calls included seven for Emergency Medical Services, three vehicle collisions, one debris fire and one public assist.
