Newman Police Department

The Newman Police Department received 39 calls for service and reported 65 officer-initiated calls for a total of 104 incidents from March 14 to March 20.

The department opened 19 cases and made nine arrests. The department issued 11 traffic citations, four criminal citations and towed two vehicles.

 

Vandalism

The Newman Police Department took two reports of vandalism involving broken windows over the last week. In both cases it appeared it was caused by a pellet or BB gun. The first was reported on March 14 in the 1000 block of Grackle Court and the damage was estimated at $200. The second happened on March 19 in the 2100 block of Creek Court and the damage was estimated at $350.

 

Arrests

Francisco Delgadillo, 54, of Newman was arrested on March 14 for DUI and DUI of .08 or more.

An unnamed 28-year-old Newman woman was arrested on March 15 for domestic violence.

Marcelino Padilla, 50, of Turlock was arrested on March 15 for driving on a license suspended for DUI and a warrant.

Michal Guerra Cothrell, 26, of Newman was arrested on March 17 for a warrant.

Rigoberto Cornejo, 46, of Newman was arrested on March 19 and 20 for vandalism, possession of a controlled substance and a warrant.

 

Gustine Police Department

Assault and battery

An assault and battery was reported at 11:03 p.m. on March 14 in the 100 block of 2nd Street.

Auto thefts

An auto theft was reported at 10 p.m. on March 15 in the 1500 block of Ashmount Lane.

An auto theft was reported at 2:20 p.m. on March 17 in the 1200 block of South Avenue

 

Arrests

Sergio Corona Ortiz, 33, was arrested at 9:36 p.m. on March 14 in the area of Highway 33 and Gun Club Road for a warrant.

Christine Marie Seutter, 35, was arrested at 12:09 a.m. on March 21 in the area of Olsen Drive and Sherwood Drive for DUI, DUI of .08 or more, possession of an open container and a vehicle code violation.

Armando Sepulveda Hernandez, 29, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. on March 21 at Harry Schmidt Park for arson, vandalism, and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.

Jessie Sicairos, 40, was arrested at 9:08 p.m. on March 21 in the area of 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue for a warrant.
