Stanislaus State to host 14th annual Science Day

Stanislaus State is gearing up to ignite curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists at the 14th Annual Science Day, taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 15, at the campus in Turlock. This highly anticipated family-friendly event, free and open to the public, transforms the campus into an interactive exploration space where science comes to life for attendees of all ages.

Visitors will have the opportunity to step inside working laboratories, participate in hands-on experiments and engage with faculty and students across multiple disciplines. Science Day will take place at Naraghi Hall of Science, Science Building 1, the Greenhouse, the new Child Development Center and various other locations across campus, ensuring an expansive and immersive experience.

Science Day at Stan State is more than an event — it’s an invitation to experience the thrill of scientific exploration firsthand. Attendees can expect guided tours, open labs and interactive stations covering a range of scientific fields, from biology and chemistry to physics and environmental science.

Children and families can look forward to hands-on activities designed to make science fun and accessible, with educational games, live demonstrations and experiments that showcase the wonders of the natural world. Science-themed prizes will be available, making the day even more engaging for young learners.

In addition to Stan State’s faculty and students leading activities, vendors and local organizations will host informational booths, offering insights into careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
