Gloriann Cardoza obit

We regret to announce the passing of Gloriann Cardoza on February 3, 2025. Gloriann was a valued member of our community, whose kindness, generosity, and love profoundly influenced many lives.

Born on June 14, 1931, in Gustine to Raymond and Ann Ryder and was predeceased by her brothers, Will and Richard Ryder. In 1949, Gloriann married Frank Cardoza, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage until his passing in 2014. She dedicated herself to raising her family—Carolyn (deceased), Gary, and Robert (Joanne)—and later pursued a career at San Joaquin Valley Dairymen’s Association for nearly 35 years, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and clients alike.

Gloriann lived most of her life with Frank on the dairy in the Santa Nella area, along with their weekend place in Santa Cruz. Gloriann actively contributed to the community, volunteering with organizations such as the Girl Scouts and 4-H. Her generosity and compassion were well-known within the community.

Friends and family will remember Gloriann for her kindness, grace, gentle personality, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. Her constant smile endeared her to everyone she met. Gloriann’s enthusiasm for the game of Bunco, and the friends that came with it, and her support for the San Francisco 49ers were lifelong passions. She relished attending 49ers games with her husband for almost 30 years, deriving great joy and fulfillment from these experiences.

Gloriann’s legacy will continue through the many lives she touched. Although she is no longer with us, the memories and love she shared will remain in our hearts forever. A memorial service will be held on February 22, 2025, at St. James Lutheran Church (Newman). Friends and family are invited to celebrate Gloriann’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in Gloriann’s honor.

Rest in peace, Gloriann. You will be deeply missed, and your memory will be cherished always.
