It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John David Oliveira, who passed away peacefully February 13, 2025, at the age of 68. He was born in Oxnard, California to Manuel F. and Mary C. Oliveira. John was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend, known for his kindness, wisdom and unwavering love for his family.

John dedicated his life to his family and career as a construction inspector. He found joy in skiing, hunting, and vehicle restoration.

Mr. Oliveira is survived by his beloved siblings:

Rosemary Oliveira of Fresno, Frank (Sheri) Oliveira of Gustine, Teresa (Richard) Oliveira-Owens of Beaumont, Tom Oliveira of Gustine, Mike (Carly) Oliveira of Modesto, and Julia (Walter) Resendes of Modesto; and 25 nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel F. & Mary C. Oliveira and his brother, Manuel A. Oliveria.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th at 11:30am with a Mass to commence immediately after at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles Church in Gustine, California. Burial to follow at the Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman, California.
