Joyce Marie Amaral, 91 of Crows Landing passed away on March 20, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Amaral was born in Crows Landing and was a lifelong resident. She was a part of many clubs and organizations including; YLI, St. Vincent de Paul’s Church, the thrift store, Modesto Camper Club, Wagon wheel square dancers, president of the FDS in Crows Landing three times, she also owned a café in Crows Landing for many years and she was a cook. Her family owned Amaral’s meat where she wrapped meat and was the bookkeeper. Joyce even cooked for the Lions Club for all their meetings and dinners.

Mrs. Amaral is survived by her son, Anthony (Jennifer) Amaral, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Amaral; children, Mike Craig and David Dennis.

A Mass will be held at 10:00am, Monday, April 21, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson.
