Lorraine Diaz, 63, born on August 11, 1961, in Newman, California, passed away peacefully in Turlock, California, surrounded by her loving family on December 2, 2024.

Lorraine was cherished by all who knew her. Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives, shaping not only her family but also her friends and community. As a dedicated wife, mother, nana

and friend, Lorraine had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. She had a knack for bringing people together, often hosting family gatherings filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable meals cooked with care. Her love for cooking was a testament to her nurturing spirit— each dish prepared with a recipe of devotion.

In her free time, Lorraine enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved playing bingo, and was one lucky gal at the casino. These activities brought her joy and allowed her to create fond memories with her closest friends.

Lorraine is survived by her beloved family, including her devoted partner Steve Mora, her children Randy Heldstab, Clint Ventura and wife Veronica, Anthony Ventura and wife Amanda. She was a proud grandmother to her nine grandchildren:

Vanessa, Isaac, Robert, Ryder Heldstab, Reanna, Clint Jr. Ventura, and Madyson and Mackenzie Ventura. Each grandchild held a special place in Lorraine’s heart, and her love for them was a boundless source of strength and joy.

She is also survived by her siblings Linda, Ruben, Bella, Odelia, and Robert, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories and

close bonds. Lorraine’s spirit of love and laughter will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held at the St Joachim’s Catholic Church, 1121 Main St Newman, CA on January 7, 2025, at 10 AM. Followed by the burial at Hills Ferry cemetery and celebration of life at Louis

J. Newman Memorial Building, 649 Orestimba Rd Newman Ca. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clint Ventura to support sending Lorraine off peacefully.

Lorraine’s legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering love will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she may be gone, her spirit will continue to inspire us to live fully and love deeply, just as she did
