Raul Caldera was born October 15, 1952 in Ciudad, Juarez Chihuahua Mexico. He was born to Reynaldo and Santos Caldera from Newman, California. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Rachel Caldera, 3 children; Daniel (Deceased) Michael & Melissa Caldera. Michael & Melissa gave him 10 grandchildren; Jazmine Temores, Jacob Pena, Alyssa Pena, Jizelle Kindy, Danny Caldera, Adam Caldera, Jenasis Garza, Julian Caldera, Jeremiah Garza & Sophia Caldera. He also leaves behind 4 great grandchildren.

He worked for Bell Farms for 15 years in Gustine. He worked for F&A Cheese Factory for over 20 years as a maintenance supervisor then moved onto Joseph Gallo Cheese plant where he worked 10 years before he retired at 66.

He loved the outdoors, camping with family, hiking & also enjoyed working on classic cars in his spare time. He was known for his sense of humor, being a prankster and having an excellent work ethic. He loved getting together with family and barbequing.

As a Jehovah Witness, he participated in volunteer work by visiting his neighbors and sharing good news from the bible. He was an active member of his congregation. He fell asleep in death on November 6, 2024 at his home in Gustine surrounded by his family. His service will be held Saturday, November 16th @ 1pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 270 Weber Ave, Patterson CA 95363.
