To the Editor:

Orestimba graduate (2022) Reagan Marroquin is a member of the Butte College Women’s Basketball team who just clinched an Elite Eight ticket to the CCCAA Championship in Walnut, California this week. 

She is a second-year guard for Butte College and they finished second in the state last year. 

The team has made school history by making it to the Elite Eight three years in a row and winning their conference for the fourth straight year. 

Reagan was a standout athlete at Orestimba, scoring over 1,000 points in her four years of playing varsity basketball. She was just recently voted Golden Valley Honorable Mention player and was awarded All Tournament Team at the Okawa College Tournament at East Los Angeles College.
