NEWMAN, Calif – In its only game last week, the Orestimba High girls flag football team continued to crank out the wins.
Taking a road trip to play at Mendota on Sept. 18, the Warriors came away with a 39-27 win.
The victory improved Orestimba to an 11-4 overall record.
Prior to the road win, Orestimba hosted Franklin of Stockton in another non-league game on Sept. 12. The Warriors recorded a 38-0 win over the Yellowjackets.
Orestimba is currently riding on a six-game winning streak.
The Warriors have also defeated Dos Palos, Los Banos, Patterson and Gustine this month.
On Monday, Orestimba opened Trans-Valley League play at Ripon.
On Wednesday, the Warriors will host Sonora in a TVL contest. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Orestimba continues its league schedule on Monday, Sept. 30, when it plays at Escalon. That contest is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
