was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Big Valley Christian Lions. If the Reds were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-7.

Gustine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Big Valley Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

Going into the game, Gustine was looking for a change in momentum after dropping their previous game to Los Banos 3-0. The squad also was looking to avenge a previous loss at the hands of Big Valley in February 2024, but it was not to be.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Big Valley Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Hilmar on Monday as Big Valley Christian made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lions not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 27th.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gustine will welcome Waterford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterford has a record of 5-8.
