On Oct. 2, the Reds Volleyball team faced Stone Ridge Christian for a close competition but ultimately lost the match in three sets.
Gustine started strong in the first set leading 13-8 against the Knights and were able to keep that lead strong for a while. The Reds ended up falling short in a long battle in the first set 26-24.
The second set went more in the Knights favor as the Reds fell behind in the beginning 14-7 and weren't able to make a comeback losing the second set 25-16. The third match the Reds were able to get their momentum back and fight against the Knights to keep it a close game. The game was tied 21-21 and the rest of the game was back and forth until Stone Ridge came out on top winning 25-22.
The Reds will face Waterford on Monday October 14th at home.
