After flying high against Waterford last Tuesday, Orestimba came back down to earth. The Orestimba Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Escalon Cougars on Wednesday.

The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 16-25, 25-19, 25-12.

Orestimba now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Escalon, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Orestimba will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ripon at 6 p.m. on March 24.
