Warriors’ basketball still dominated in the SAL league, defeating Le Grand High School Wednesday, 78-63. The Warriors ended at 12-0 in the SAL league, 25-2 for the regular season. Securing the SAL league title and moving to the first round of Division 4 CIF SJS playoff against West Campus Warriors (Sacramento) on Feb. 12.

Orestimba girls’ basketball won their game against SAL league opponent Led Grand on Tuesday, 38-18. Warriors’ move to 12-0 in the SAL league, securing a league title. The Warriors will match up against Argonaut High School (Jackson) in a play-off game. The winner will matchup against Colfax on Feb. 14.

The Reds fell to SAL league opponent Delhi Hawks on Monday, 3-0. Then on Tuesday, Le Grand defeated the Reds 3-0. The Reds finish the season 5-15-3, ending 6th place in the SAL league with a record of 4-8-2.

The Reds made a last-minute squeeze into playoffs. First, they defeated Delhi Hawks on Tuesday, 2-0. Then they moved to the first round of Division 4 CIF SJS playoffs against Sonora Wildcats (Sonora) on Feb. 10, but would fall to them, 4-1. The Reds finished the season 10-10-2, 8-4-2 in the SAL league and ranked 3rd.

SAL league opponent Denair Coyotes would fall to the Warriors, 1-0, on Tuesday. The Warriors ended their regular season at 16-9-4, 10-1-3 in the SAL league and ranked 2nd. The Warriors had their first round of Division 4 CIF SJS playoffs on Feb. 9, but would fall to Wheatland Pirate (Wheatland), 2-1.

Warriors’ soccer would win their last game of the season against Le Grand on Tuesday, 8-0. The Warriors ended their regular season with a proud 18-4-2 record, 13-1 in league, winning a 1st place SAL league title. But their first round of Division 4 CIF SJS playoffs on Feb. 10 against Ripon Indians (Ripon), would end their championship run. Final score, 3-0.
